Q) How much does CL Infotech charge for its software services?
A) CL Infotech delivers software services on two pricing models-Fixed Price and Time & Material. The former model is employed when the requirements are reasonably clear and effort can be accurately estimated. The latter model is utilized when the Client is unsure of his requirements. The client is billed purely on resources utilized. This model offers flexibility to the client to balance his workload depending on his requirements.

Q) How does offshore programing reduce costs?
A) Offshore programming lowers costs in many ways.
1. Outsourcing allows companies to access top specialists for each project rather have to hire or train new employees for each special need

A) For most of the projects we have an Onsite coordinator, a CL Infotech professional who stays at the client's place during the development and implementation. He becomes the interface between the client and the CL Infotech team in India. For the projects where an Onsite coordinator is not desired by clients, phone and e-mail communications are the primary means of communication. As the process moves forward, the faxing of documents and regular e-mail play the major role supplemented by phone calls when needed.

Q) Do you speak English?
A) Yes. English is spoken by all employees of CL Infotech and is the first language of many. We may not be as fluent or slang savy as Americans, but when it comes to technical understanding, English is the international language of programmers.

Q) What is the time difference between India and the USA?
A) India is 10 1/2 hours ahead of the New York (i.e. Monday 8 a.m. in New York is Monday 6:30 p.m. in India), a good time to talk via phone if needed.

Q) Is Bangalore affected by natural disasters such as typhoons?
A) Bangalore is a major modern city about 100 miles from the coast in southwestern India. It is not affected by typhoons or flooding and is not known for other major disasters such as earthquakes, hurricanes or tornados.

Q) How are payments handled?
A) CL Infotech has banks in both India and the United States. Invoicing and payments are in US or Canadian dollars and are either conveniently mailed or wired to the appropriate branch.
